MASI former members
MEDIA Association Solomon Islands (MASI) together with Solomon Islands Media Assistance Scheme (SOLMAS) will again confer media awards across a number of categories for local news reporters in the country.
Each media will decide the winners of the 5 awards based upon popular vote.

The new $50 note circulating since last week
THE newly introduced $50 notes made of plastic polymer will start circulating this week.
The Central Bank of Solomon Islands Governor Denton Rarawa launched the new notes last week.
Mr Rarawa stated in his key remarks that he is honoured to be part of the launching of the redesigned $50 note which will be circulated and used in the country after the official launch.
