THE Solomon Islands Association of Vocational and Rural Training Centres (SIAVRT) has revealed it will push for the review of the current educational grant assistance scheme.

Speaking to Sunday Isles on the issue, SIAVRTC Director Billy Mae said the informal sector has for 10 years been receiving the lesser amount in grant funding from government compared with the formal sector.

A NEARLY Completed Water Supply Project was disrupted following a rampaged through the construction depot of Solomon Water Kitano’s Henderson Construction Yard on Saturday 14th.

“The unacceptable and selfish behaviour will delay the completion of the important water supply improvement project by at least 2 months, perhaps more,” the Chairman of Solomon Water said.
