Sunday school children of SSEC local church observing the onstage activities upfrontSunday school children of SSEC local church observing the onstage activities upfrontTHE South Seas Evangelical Church (SSEC) Honiara Sunday school association yesterday   held its annual mid year mini rally yesterday at Honiara senior high school assembly hall.

As part of the church’s annual christian calendar of religious and social programming activites for this year, Cana hill community church managed to successfully host the SSEC’s Sunday school association mini rally program in an absolutely positive note with its theme- “Be a God with ness at all times.”

The main objective of event was to bring forward young souls to know God personally as they journey throughout their Christian life and to teach them the important spiritual values especially as they engage with each other throughout the religious program.

According to this year’s host senior Cana hill Sunday school teacher Andy Taba’a he’s local church has been very proud to host this years religious single day program.

“ This event has been a significant milestone for all the Sunday teachers and students of all the participating SSEC Sunday school association which have represented our five different zones.

“ The zones represent local churches from Cana hill church, Bethlehem church, Namoliki, SSEC central and Tuvaruhu altogether work under the umbrella arm of Honiara Sunday school church.

“Each zones are expected to organize and in cooperate their own style of organizing their respective program,” said the Sunday school teacher.

The day-to-day program involved indoor activities as quiz challenge, bible lesson activity, stage singing, choir and drama skits and outdoor sports including tug of war contest  .

A Similar and much bigger religious program had been already scheduled for September this year.

Meanwhile, SSEC Bethlehem church will host next years annual ‘Sunday school mini rally.’
