Relatives and Family members of Late Elison Pogo entered the Cathedral during the funeral service
REPRESENTING Ministers of the Cabinet last week has paid their last tribute to former Archbishop of Anglican, Sir Ellison Pogo during his funeral on Thursday.
The Ministers were accompanied with their wives and head of the crown PM Lilo.
Sir Ellison was archbishop of church of Melanesia for 13 years until his retirement in 2009, died on Monday after a long illness.
Sir Ellison was described as a man of principles, God fearing and a humble person.
“He has left a gap behind surely be unfilled, the nation the church would miss a gifted visionary leader,” Minister for Tourism, Samuel Manetoali expressed.
“He’s contribution in church and the country as a public servant.
Overseas church reps, the Governor General Frank Kabui, Prime Minister Gordon Darcy Lilo, heads of oversea missions were among the those who paid their last tribute to Sir Ellison Pogo.
