THE ROYAL Solomon Islands Police Force (RSIPF) last week hosted the men’s choir group from Kukum Seventh Day Adventist (SDA) at the police headquarters.
Acting police commissioner, Juanita Matanga told reporters during a weekly press conference.
The program was part of RSIPF’s inter faith program.
“It is a positive initiative for RSIPF working together with Christian communities and groups,” Ms Matanga said.
She also said RSIPF will continue to invite and work with religious groups, churches, recognising the importance of working together with the people.
“RSIPF cannot succeed without working together with the people therefore I urged community leaders, elders, women and youths in assisting the police on common ground for peace,” Matanga expressed.
