THE Government through the Ministry of Home Affairs has included Athletics and Wheelchair basketball for people with disability in the upcoming 5th Solomon Games in Tulagi scheduled to start on the 23rd September.

THE national Futsal side Kurukuru went to last month’s invitational championship in New Zealand like a “team without a father”.
That’s how team manger Charles Fox Saimanu described their participation.
The result was a disappointing performance by the national side, who are currently the reigning Futsal champions of Oceania.
Speaking to Isles Sports, Saimanu said the national government gave them not even a cent despite requests sent through the Ministry of Home Affairs, which is responsible for sports.
